How to Enter

The deadline to enter SEYF Projects for the 2022 Fair has now passed (except for Plant ID and Livestock Judging Contests).

Livestock Judging & Plant ID Contest have a later entry deadline – see Calendar of Events.

Remember to write down your log-in information (including password) so that you can always log back in and refer to your entries at any time.

Remember that all animal shows require a Record Book in order to show!

They are also due FEBRUARY 18, 2022!

Criteria to Enter:

  • Exhibitor must be 8-18 years old (5-7 for Watch Me Grow)
  • Exhibitor must live in or attend a school in Marion County
  • Exhibitor must be an active member in FFA or 4-H
  • Exhibitor must complete entry forms and pay all necessary fees by deadline

Each event has a separate fee, no matter how many events you sign up for. There is NO MAX FEE option this year.

Market Animals:

You may pay Market Animal (Steer, Swine, Goat, Lamb) entry fees online, at the SEYF Office, or by your (Steer, Swine, Lamb, Goat) tagging day.  

Show Animal & Other Contest Fee Deadline:

Entry FEES are due November 12th with the exception of Market Animals (Steer, Swine, Lamb, Goat) which are due prior to Weigh-In or Tagging date.

Market Animal: $10 each animal
Market Steer
Market Hog
Market Lamb
Market Goat

Other Animal Shows: $5 each animal
Beef Heifers
Dairy Goat or Meat Goat
Dog Agility, Obedience, or Rally
Breed Lambs
Horses (add an additional $7 per class OR $45.00 includes unlimited classes, one stall)

Small Animal Shows: $1 per head

All other shows: $2 each
