Three Ways To Buy

1. Bid In Person!

  • You will need to register and sign in person at our Rec Hall at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion. This is where you’ll pick up your bidder number.
  • All animals will be sold to the highest bidder.
  • Any disputes will be settled by the auctioneer.

2. Bid Online!

You won’t be able to register for this option until closer to Fair, but the link will be on our website home page – www.seyfair.com. It will be very similar to years past. There will be a button to click on to register and a button to click on to bid when the auction is live! We will also have a “Mock Auction” on Wednesday, February 18th at 10 am if you’d like to “practice” bidding with us!

3. Farmers Feeding Florida

You will purchase the animal as if you are getting it custom processed, but in lieu of keeping the meat, it goes to a LOCAL food bank and you don’t have to pay the processing fees. You are responsible for payment of the animal to the SEYF, but the Feeding Florida program does the rest! * Payments can be made on site at the office located behind the stage. Check, Cash & Credit card accepted. Click here for more information!

Completing The Purchase

Once you purchase an animal, you will need to fill out a Buyer’s Bill with the appropriate billing information and signature.
Please remain seated and wait for a SEYF Ambassador to come to you with a Buyer’s Bill. The amount due will be calculated and you can choose to pay in person behind the stage at the payment booth.

Buyer Options

1. Resale Option

The animal you purchase goes to the resale buyer; you are making a contribution to the exhibitor. You do not receive the meat. You pay the amount of your bid less the resale price. The resale price is established at the beginning of each auction. Example: You bid $2.00/lb, the resale is $0.50/lb you pay $1.50/lb.

2. Custom Processing Option

Make arrangements with a custom processor and keep the meat. You are responsible for payment of processing, which is in addition to your SEYF bill. * Payments can be made on site at the office located behind the stage. Check, Cash & Credit card accepted.

Payment is due immediately following the conclusion of the auction or after receiving the invoice from SEYF. The exhibitor will not be paid until the money for their animal has been received.

APPROVED SEYF
PROCESSORS

NOTE: You are encouraged to call immediately following the auction to make cut requests & arrangements with your choice of processor. The buyer is responsible for all processing fees.
